Vacuum chamber with vacuum pump for degassing BHO or DHO.

The vacuum chamber has a volume of about 6L with the dimensions of about 20cm diameter and 20cm height, the lid has a silicone seal as well as two levers for opening and closing the vacuum chamber. The vacuum pump supplied is from White Whale Mechanical and produces a very high vacuum pressure of 5 Pa, the pump manages 2.5CFM and should be large enough for most vacuum chambers.

It is important to close the ball valve to the vacuum chamber before switching off the pump so that no oil can get into the vacuum chamber through the vacuum.

The vacuum chamber is oil-lubricated, the oil should be replaced every 10-30 hours to ensure that the pump lives as long as possible and can generate a high vacuum pressure.

The vacuum pump evaporates oil and should therefore not be used in closed rooms, but in well-ventilated rooms or outdoors.

The oil for the vacuum pump is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.

Important: Before commissioning the vacuum chamber, all screw connections must be sealed with the Teflon tape supplied.

The vacuum pump must not be operated for more than 1 hour, otherwise the pump may overheat.

Before commissioning, the oil must be filled into the vacuum pump.
